RowClock is the station clock and results site for rowing head races. The iPhone app and the Android app record a time when a marshal taps GO. Times stay on the phone until Upload results. If the upload cannot reach the server, Share results sends the sheet another way.

Privacy

The iPhone app keeps the marshal's name, the race password, and the recorded times on the phone. The same is true of the Android app.

Upload results sends the marshal's name, boat numbers, times, and notes to the club's RowClock server at rowclock.app.

The password stays on the phone. Each request sends a hash of the web address with the password added, so the server can check it. The password itself is not included.

RowClock does not use this information for advertising or tracking, and it does not sell it.
